Gifts to treasure for years to come....
Wedding gifts can be hard to find, particularly if you want to gift something a bit more interesting and unique and not the same John Lewis cutlery set as everyone else.
I've put together my recommendations below for beautiful wedding present ideas- special pieces to treasure for years to come.
Gorgeous Glassware
The Vintage List make the most beautiful glasses for both special celebrations and every day dining. Engraved with a number of different patterns, they come in sets of 6 or pairs including the Star Engraved Champagne Saucers (£32/pair) below and the Lens Wine Glasses (£86 set of 6) - 2 of my favourite designs.
Continuing down the same there, we also stock the Trellis glasses by Bungalow. The perfect size for a G & T or water tumbler too. Available in a set of 2 for £28.
Harlequin Homeware:
We've been working with Paige Mitchell in Norwich on some exclusive ceramics for the SYS shop including these beautiful frilly Harlequin green and white vases (£60). They've been a best-seller in store and perfect as a gift to fill with flowers on the mantlepiece.
There's also Paige's Harlequin oval dish (£50) too- perfect for housing your keys and cards by the front door.
Tableware:
You can't really go wrong with table linens, especially when they're accompanied by beautiful porcelain napkin rings. We commissioned Joanna Ling to create some wavy porcelain napkin rings in 3 different colour ways, available in sets of 2 online or in store.
Or a special candle holder for the dining table or a sideboard is a lovely idea too. Joanna creates wavy porcelain candle holders in 2 sizes.
Honeymoon Inspo:
For those that lovely to travel, the A Week Abroad journals make a brilliant gift not only as a local's guide to each destination but also as a fun, well-designed coffee table book to display. We currently stock 3 different popular destinations- Marseille, Puglia and Alentejo in Portugal.
And to display those coffee table books, there's the lacquered trays - perfect for an ottoman or low central table, to hold candle holders, special objects and more.
